Role Overview
We are seeking a motivated Graduate Research / Engineering Assistant to support technical and administrative tasks within our consultancy. This role is ideal for an engineering graduate or postgraduate student seeking industry experience while working flexibly.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with technical research in power systems, renewable energy, and grid integration.
- Support in preparing reports, presentations, and proposals for consultancy projects.
- Conduct literature reviews, data collection, and preliminary analysis.
- Draft tender documents (EOIs, capability statements, CVs, etc.) under supervision.
- Provide administrative and coordination support as required.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree (or final-year student) in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems, or related field.
- Strong analytical and writing skills.
- Familiarity with power system software tools (ETAP, DIgSILENT, PSCAD, CYME, or MATLAB/Simulink) desirable but not mandatory.
- Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently with guidance.
